Our Transportation Program

Camp transportation is an important part of the day for all day camp programs. Most of our campers start and end their days with their ride on the bus. Because of this, we put as much energy and thought into transportation as we do into the rest of camp.

Safety is always our number one focus, and no where is this more true than in transporting our campers to and from camp each day. It is for this reason that Sunny Skies campers are transported on seatbelt equipped school buses driven by professional school bus drivers. School buses (designed with enhanced safety features required by the federal government) are considered the safest vehicles on the road for the transportation of children. Professional school bus drivers bring their year round daily bus driving experience to camp. This combination of safer vehicles and experienced drivers is designed to provide our campers with the safest camp transportation available. Camp Crafts!

There are more than 25 different conveniently located neighborhood meeting points. Most families are less than 3 minutes from their nearest stop. Stops are located in Agoura, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, Moorpark, Newbury Park, North Ranch, Oak Park, Thousand Oaks, West Hills, Westlake Village and Woodland Hills. See complete list of locations and times below to find the one nearest you. Parents choosing to drive their own children to camp may drop off between 8:15 and 9:00 and pickup between 3:50 and 4:45.

Camp counselors ride the bus too!!! Each camp bus has several of our great camp staff who ride with the campers from first stop to last. Our counselors are there to provide assistance to campers and lead games and songs that make the ride such a fun part of the day.
